You can land on the homepage, browse character previews and read documentation without an account, but to actually chat with an AI character, save conversations, or generate images you must sign in. Sign-up is one-click through Google or Apple, no email verification roundtrip, and from there the free tier unlocks a limited number of daily messages plus basic image generation. The catch is persistence: any conversation you start as an unsigned visitor is wiped on refresh, and image generation is locked behind sign-in entirely. In short, signing up is fast and free, but skipping it means you get a preview, not the product.
