John

John publishes and edits this site. He is the person named as publisher in the Terms and the person declared as author in the structured data of every article.

Role

Publisher and editor of OurDream Affiliate, an independent review site covering AI companion and roleplay platforms. He decides what gets reviewed, runs the comparisons, and is responsible for what is published — including its errors.

Method

The comparisons are based on hands-on use of the platforms being tested, not on press releases or summaries of other reviews. Each article states the number of apps tested, the length of the test and the date it took place. A criterion that could not be assessed is reported as not assessed rather than filled in by guesswork. The full method is on the Editorial & Testing Policy page.

Independence

Outbound links to platforms may be affiliate links and can earn a commission. That commission does not buy a ranking, a score, the removal of a documented weakness or a favourable verdict. Where this site earns from a platform, the platform is not automatically recommended.

What is not claimed

• No professional qualification in psychology, medicine, law or finance is claimed, and nothing published here is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
• No affiliation with the reviewed platforms beyond the disclosed commercial links.
• No claim to have tested something that was not tested. Where an article relies on published research or on user reports, it says so.
